About Myrtle
Meow, My name is Myrtle but my foster mum calls me Myrtle the Turtle. I could have been called "Smooch". I'll let you guess why that is....
I came to my foster home about three months ago as a very shy kitten but after time and patience I now roam the house confidently. I spend most of my day sleeping under the spare bed but will come out for playtime then go back to sleeping. In the evenings, I will come down stairs and jump on my foster mums lap. I'm so excited to be getting attention that I will continuously plonk myself onto her lap and stare at her lovingly for chin scratches and pats.
Sudden loud noises and movements still scare me though but I'm working on that. I'm ok with children as long as they sit quietly, then I will approach them for pats. I am perfectly toilet trained.
When my foster parents go to sleep I will jump onto the bed and purr as loud as I can then after a while I will go to my cat bed to spend the rest of the night.
I LOVE playing with balls, jumping on the cat tower and playing with my favorite blue cat wand. I have a unique marking on the back of my neck. Do you also think it looks like a stingray?
I hope there is a lovely family out there waiting to spoil me.
Love, Myrtle.
