About Boston
Hi, I'm Boston!
I'm a very sweet and gentle boy with a calm soul. From the day I arrived at my foster home, my foster human knew I was special. I love cuddles, people, and especially purring!
I was quite shy at first and spent most of my time hiding under the bed, but I was always happy to come out for pats when called. Within a few days, I started exploring the house and becoming more confident.
I LOVE food and will happily remind you with my little meows when it's treat time! Chicken and Churu are my absolute favourites.
I'm FIV+ and will need to be an indoor cat only. I'm doing well and just need a safe home, patience and lots of love. I may not be the most photogenic cat, but I definitely have a big personality and an even bigger heart. Give me a chance, and I'll show you just how special I am. ❤️
Medical Notes
Boston has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. They should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to their health and well-being long term. These include being an inside only cat; slow and careful introduction to other cats; and annual vaccinations and health checks.
Boston has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
Boston has a waiver for a chipped tooth. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required.
