🐾 HI, I'M PENELOPE! 🐾 I absolutely love pats. If your hand is within headbutting distance, it will be head butted. When my foster mum strokes my favourite place on the side of my neck, sometimes I just flop on the floor! I've progressed incredibly quickly in foster care and it didn't take me long to decide this place was safe and comfortable and that I love toys and exploring! Now, we need to discuss something very important. 🍗 FOOD. 🍗 I love food so much that I once looked at my feeding tray and apparently thought, "You know what? This might also be food." It was not food. I ate part of it anyway. This resulted in an overnight stay at the vet and my foster mum was beside herself with worry. I was fine. My main concern was: When is dinner? So, to my future family: do not leave food unattended. I will find it. I will eat it. Your dinner is my dinner. Your snacks are my snacks. Apparently even my feeding equipment is my snacks. I am not aggressive about it which I think is important to note. My foster mum is hoping with time that I will learn that my food will not just vanish as I was found a stray were food wasn't guaranteed. I also apparently make an assortment of very strange meows. As for other cats...the resident cat here is a bit crazy, and frankly, I could do without the drama. I might be happy with a calm, chilled-out feline companion who respects my personal space and could eat there dinner in one sitting ( the rc just grazes her food and I just don't get it 🤔), but I would absolutely flourish as an only cat. I can still get a little skittish if someone moves to quick. But I don't mind the loud coffee grinder in the morning when my foster parents make coffee. 🤷 I might be shy at first but I will quickly warm up to you with love and patience. P.S. Please get me a sturdy puzzle feeding tray. Medical Notes Penelope has a waiver for a chipped tooth.
