Tess

Meet Tess, a beautiful tabby girl who loves to be petted! Tess will take a while to warm up - she doesn't like sudden movements or lots of loud people, but once she feels safe, she will be rubbing at your legs demanding pats, which will have her purring up a storm. You know she feels safe when she executes a stop, flop and roll - although just because she shows her belly, doesn't mean you can pat it! Head and ear scritches are her absolute favourite. She doesn't like to be picked up and isn't a lap cat, but will happily sit next to you on the couch and spend the night curled up on your bed - she does enjoy the company. She will chat and chirp at you when she wants some attention, so you may spend your days stuck in conversation with her. :) Tess isn't a fan of dogs, and has shown aversion to cats passing the window, so unless you're prepared for a long, slow introduction to other pets, it's best for Tess to be the ruler of the house. She came from a family where she was allowed outside to run with the bandicoots, and she misses the freedom. Her favourite pastimes is to sit on the windowsill or by the open door to monitor what's going on. If you have a cat run, I think you'll get even extra love from Tess! Tess isn't too fussy when it comes to food - dry biscuits with the occasional treats are fine. She doesn't show much interest in toys (she's afraid of the wand, but will bat around a ball or pipe cleaner for a bit), but she does love to be brushed. Medical Notes Tess has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. Tess is located with her foster family in Balga.
