Apricot

APRICOT may be timid and hide at first, but once she gets to know you she is very affectionate and loves to be patted. She likes to sit on your lap, groom herself then go to sleep. She enjoys chasing tinkling balls, and also likes chasing toys on sticks. She has a scratching post, but so far she hasn't actually scratched it. She doesn't seem to mind the vacuum as much as other cats, and even reaches under the door to try and catch it. She rarely meows to get attention. However, she makes noise burrowing under rugs and pushing biscuits under the door if she is confined and not happy. She has happily been an inside cat, and usually runs away from the door when we go out. Her favourite resting spots are lounge chairs (under the protective covers), window sills and inside the linen cupboard. She opened the door and made herself at home on the cat towels. (Luckily not on our towels) Apricot will be a wonderful companion for an owner/s who is/are prepared to be patient at the start. She is probably not suitable for small children. Maybe better in a quieter home. She can be a bit feisty if she is overexcited or held tight. Currently she has a bare patch on the back of her neck where she was treated for an itchy spot which is now better. Apricot has put up with a lot of medical treatment in foster care. Now that the Vet has given her the all clear, she deserves a special forever home. Medical Notes Apricot has a waiver for Ringworm (recovered). Apricot as presented with gingivitis. Dental hygiene may help prevent its development. Apricot is located with her foster family in Armadale.
