About Rosa Roo
There's a very cuddly girl hiding behind Rosa's shyness.
Rosa is a beautiful 2-3 year old fluffy tortoiseshell who is ready to find her forever home - but she isn't looking for just anyone.
She's looking for someone patient. Someone gentle. Someone who doesn't mind waiting.
Rosa is an extremely shy girl, and when she first came into foster care, hiding was her favourite hobby. She spent almost 23 hours a day tucked away on her window ledge.
But 10 months of patience and trust-building has shown us the real Rosa.
She's starting to enjoy being a cat. She's gaining confidence, exploring more and learning that she doesn't always need to hide.
And when she's comfortable?
She's an absolute sweetheart.
She'll demand pats, curl up beside you and give you kisses. She loves her cardboard scratchers, lounging in her hammock and, naturally, she has a special place in her heart for catnip.
Rosa will need a quiet, relaxed, indoor-only home and an adopter who understands that she may need a long time to settle. Her new family will need to continue the work her foster carer has started and give her the freedom to build confidence at her own pace.
Rosa might not choose you straight away.
But give her time, and she just might choose you for life.

Rosa Roo has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.

Rosa Roo has a condition called anisocoria, which means the cat has different sized pupils which can be neurological or non-neurological in origin. The condition can also be temporary or permanent depending on what the underlying cause.
Rosa Roo is located with her foster family in Hilbert. Click Register Adoption Interest to register your interest to see if she is the purrrfect fit for your family!
