About Stacey

When Stacey first came to our home, I decided to call her FelFel (F-E-L-F-E-L). "FelFel" means pepper in Persian. I chose this name because when she first arrived, she was like a little pepper - black, spicy, feisty and full of attitude! She was very scared, nervous and defensive at the beginning, and she didn't really trust people. Little by little, over about three months, she started trusting us and became a completely different cat. She now knows the name FelFel and usually pays attention when we call her. Of course, her new family can choose another name for her if they prefer, or continue calling her Stacy if that is easier. FelFel is now a very sweet, playful and affectionate girl. She loves attention, pats and cuddles. One of her favourite things is when you sit down and she can come and sit on your lap. She really enjoys being close to people once she feels comfortable with them. However, she doesn't particularly like being picked up from the floor, so she prefers to come to you herself. She has a great appetite and has no problems with food. She absolutely loves Dine Creamy Treatsand different types of dry treats. She uses her litter box regularly and we haven't had any toileting issues with her. Thankfully, we also haven't noticed any health or physical problems. She is very energetic and playful, and sometimes her paw movements can be a little quick or rough when she gets excited, but this is just part of her playful personality. We also have another cat at home called Sunny(was fostered by me), our orange cat. FelFel became friends with Sunny very quickly and they get along extremely well. As you can see in the photos and videos, she is often cuddling, sleeping or spending time close to Sunny. From our experience, I feel that FelFel is generally very good with other cats, especially if the other cat is friendly and accepting of other cats. Unfortunately, our other cat, who recently came from Iran, has not accepted FelFel at all. This has been causing FelFel stress and making the home environment difficult for her. That is the reason I made the difficult decision to put her up for adoption. It is not because there is anything wrong with FelFel. If my other cat had accepted her, I would definitely have kept her. She really is a lovely, funny and playful little cat, and I hope she finds a home where she can feel safe, relaxed and loved. Stacey is located with her foster family in Padbury.
