Hi there, I'm Bobcat Herbert or Herbie as my foster family calls me. I am a beautiful, big boy (around 7kg) that loves nothing more than cuddles and food. I moved into my foster home after being at the shelter for a few weeks. Unfortunately I was quite scared there and didn't show my true personality there. While I can be a bit shy initially, I am a very cute boy once I know you. You can easily win me over with food, I can't get enough of food and treats. But I love pats even more than food and will rub against my foster mum as soon as she comes close. I live with three other cats and a big dog. I am quite friendly towards the cats and would love a feline friend. The dog can be a bit scary and I will stand my ground when he gets too close so best if I lived without a dog. Please keep in mind, I am FIV+ and therefore will need to be indoors only and require a slow introduction to other cats. If you are looking for a cuddly big boy, I might be the right one! FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. They should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to their health and well-being long term.
