Macy arrived at GAWS as a stray, so unfortunately, her history is unknown. Despite this, she is a lovely affectionate girl who is ready to find a family who can give her the patience, guidance and love she deserves. Macy enjoys getting out and about, but she is also great at settling down and calming herself down pretty quickly. Macy needs a little extra guidance with her leash skills, so she will benefit from continued guidance and practice. With the right support, she is manageable and eager to learn. As Macy's history is unknown, we don't know whether she is house-trained. Her new family should be prepared to give her some extra patience and help while she learns her new routine and builds confidence in her home. Macy may suit living with a well-matched dog, subject to a successful introduction. She may also be able to live with a cat, provided they have a careful and managed introduction. Macy would suit a home with respectful children aged 10 years and over who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs.
