About Dobby

Dobby came to us as a stray, so sadly, much of his past remains a mystery. What we do know is that when he arrived, this beautiful boy was very nervous and unsure around people. It took Dobby about a week to begin settling in, and he'll need a patient, understanding home that can show him that the world is a safe place - with equal amounts of love, consistency and boundaries. ❤️ Experience with a rescue or nervous dog would be ideal for Dobby's new family. Dobby may suit a well-balanced dog in the home. He has not yet been tested with cats. He may also suit older, dog-savvy children aged 12+ who understand and respect that it will take time for him to settle and feel comfortable. Dobby may need some help adjusting to inside/outside living, so his new family will need to be patient as he learns and gains confidence. Dobby has so much potential to become a wonderful companion with the right person by his side. He just needs someone willing to give him the time, patience and reassurance he deserves.
