About June Bug
Meet June Bug! 🐾 Our affectionate deaf girl has a shining personality and an undeniable obsession with tennis balls! Unfortunately, June Bug has already been through a couple of homes due to a lack of understanding and support for the unique needs of a deaf working breed. She's now looking for a family that will embrace her for who she is and help her thrive. June Bug has tested well with other dogs and would do best with a confident male canine companion in her forever home. She also gets along well with cats and children. We recommend children be aged 10 years and over so they can understand and respect her space and communicate appropriately with a deaf dog. June Bug's ideal home will have experience with deaf dogs and/or working breeds. She is an intelligent girl who flourishes when her mind is kept busy through training, enrichment, and adventure. While she absolutely loves chasing a tennis ball, simply throwing one every day won't meet her needs. She'll thrive with a family committed to providing plenty of mental stimulation, structure, and opportunities to learn. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a big personality and are ready to give June Bug the understanding she deserves, she could be the perfect addition to your family.
