Meet Calypso! Calypso is a playful, energetic girl with a whole lot of personality and plenty of puppy-like enthusiasm! This excitable girl is always ready for her next adventure and is guaranteed to keep her new family entertained with her fun-loving antics. One thing Calypso is absolutely passionate about is treats! She loves them so much that she may even attempt a little nose-dive straight into the treat pouch! Her love of food will be a fantastic tool to help with her ongoing training and keep her clever mind busy. Calypso also LOVES a good game of tug-of-war and is a big fan of pigs' ears. After all that excitement, she'll happily settle onto a comfy mat or cosy bed for some well-earned downtime. As Calypso is a high-energy, high-arousal girl, she will need a patient adopter who is preferably experienced with energetic dogs and understands the importance of helping her learn how to regulate her excitement. She will need continued positive training around jumping and mouthing, as she can get a little enthusiastic when she's excited. Calypso would be best suited to a home with older children, as her jumpy and mouthy play style may be a little much for younger kids. She will also need to be the only dog in the household. With continued training, she can be supported to have calm, positive interactions with suitable dogs through slow, on-lead introductions, while also learning that she doesn't need to greet every dog she sees. Calypso is a girl who will thrive with consistency, patience, enrichment and plenty of positive reinforcement. In return, she'll bring endless fun, affection and personality to her lucky family.
