About Boots

Meet Boots! Boots is a handsome young kitty with a sleek black coat, enormous round eyes and a soft and gentle heart. He arrived in foster care as a very young, impossibly tiny and frightened kitten, all on his own. He tried out a few brave hisses when first meeting his foster humans and fur siblings, but this didn't last long (he's a lover not a fighter). Soon, rumbling purrs replaced hisses and while Boots is still more comfortable with his four paws on the ground he is quietly affectionate and growing in confidence every day. Boots adores other cats. He has been spoilt rotten by his feline foster mum and uncle, melting into a puddle of purrs when they groom him. They have helped his confidence so much and for this reason he absolutely must go to a home with another friendly feline (or 2!). Boots has so far grown up in a busy and active home with other cats, a cat-tolerant dog and cat-savvy kids and would be fine to move on to another home like this (although he may need a bit of time and gentle introductions to come out of his shell). He would do equally well in a quieter home, with just one or two people (so long as there is another cat!). He's only young so is playful, but not rambunctiously active and doesn't demand much attention. His favourite pass-time is curling up with cats, but he will also love you forever if you dangle his rainbow wand or skid a little ball (or sticky tape roll or whatever is handy) along the floor for him to play soccer with his paws. If you and your kitty are looking for a devoted (and dashingly good-looking) feline companion, Boots might just be the one for you. Indoors only, Ok with gentle dogs, Cat companion required.Kids over 10 years.
