Marmee

Meet Marrmee! Marmee is a playful and affectionate girl who has come a long way since arriving in care. Initially very fearful of people and unfamiliar environments, she has gained confidence through patience, a predictable routine and choice-based interactions. She now enjoys following her carers, sitting on laps and spending time with people when she feels comfortable. Marmee does have a sensitive side and is not comfortable being picked up or restrained, so she does best when her boundaries and choices are respected. With patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, Marmee will continue to build her confidence and make a lovely companion for someone who understands her needs.
