About Gilly

Hi, I'm Gilly (my name rhymes with Silly Billy, because I can be!).   I'm a pretty, sweet, playful pup, who hasn't quite worked out how to be graceful, or that I'm a bit big. My gentle, fun exuberance makes everyone smile.   I love toys, and food, and playing! I also love a cuddle with my foster mum on the couch at night.   I sleep through the night on the couch with my foster fur brother and sisters. I'm toilet trained and can use the doggy door with ease.   I can be a shy girl around new people especially men, and am still getting used to being out and about on the lead. I'm a good girl though and walk so well with my harness on. I've even started to show an interest in the people walking past.   I'm also getting used to going in the car, but I'm not quite sure of all that yet.   My family are going to need to be gentle and patient with me as I keep learning how to navigate the world. I can get scared of new and unfamiliar things. MY ONLY REQUIREMENT is that I'll need a friendly, playful dog around my size to help me fit in. Another canine friend helps me come out of my shell, I do not cope without another dog.   With the support of people who love me though and a friendly doggy mentor, I'll keep learning and my confidence will grow.   I hope to meet you soon, Gilly
