Amazing Archie 🌟 Small Male Shih Tzu Poodle mix 🐶 Archie is a happy one year-old shih tzu mix Poodle, weighing 6kgs. Archie would love a home where the action is❣️ His foster carers describe him as a sweet boy with many moments of high energy play antics. He keeps them on their toes with lots of toy throwing and playing - he loves his toys 🧸. Archie loves his walks and loves meeting other dogs 🐕 so we think he would go well in a home with another dog that loves to play. He is more comfortable meeting dogs than he is people, but hopefully his confidence will grow with time. Archie is best living with another friendly dog, it would be wonderful for him 💙🐾. Only one year old, he has not had the best start to life in a household with challenges and he has missed out on some disciplined puppy training, so a home with patience and commitment is needed. Everything is just a game to him‼️. Archie is housetrained ✔️ but has the occasional accident if he can’t access outside. At the moment he’ll use the doggie door if the flap is kept raised, as he’s not confident to push it with his head yet. Archie sleeps through the night on his own bed in the hall (separated by a baby gate at the bedroom door). He always goes to the toilet when taken outside just before bed. Archie is good on the lead 🐾, will sit for his treats and doesn’t mind gentle brushing. He will need regular grooming to avoid knots particularly if his coat is kept long during winter. He has only been on short car 🚗 drives but is getting used to it. Archie would not be suited to a home with elderly people, children under 12 years of age, cats, birds or pocket pets. Secure, solid fencing needed for this adventurous boy.
