Bala may be suitable for a multi-cat home with slow, thoughtful introductions, however it’s important to note that he is FIV positive . Because of this, any existing cats in the home must also be FIV positive, or have up‑to‑date FIV vaccinations (with proof required prior to adoption). Bala must be an indoor-only cat , or live in a home with a fully secure outdoor enclosure such as a Catmax system, and all windows must have secure screens to prevent accidental escapes.
