About Flint

Introducing Flint, He has had a rough start to life and is looking for a kind and understanding home to help him heal and come out of his shell. Flint was found in a forestry area by a kind roadworker, he was very thin and not able to stand. The kind person shared their lunch with Flint and then called us for assistance. Flint arrived curled up on a pile of rocks on the back of the persons work truck which is how he got his name. He had to spend a few days at the vets because he was so dehydrated and thin. With love & TLC from the vets, staff and volunteers Flint has made great progress and is learning that he is safe. He is friendly but unsure of people but is starting to play with toys and enjoys sniffing on his daily walks. He is a bit scared of loud trucks but as long as you reassure him then he is ok. Flint has been introduced to a female dog here and has been friendly. He is a quiet boy and doesn't bark. He will make an amazing companion for someone with a bit of time and patience to dedicate to him.
