About Bluey

Meet Bluey - this sweetheart is looking for his new best friend! Bluey is ready for a fresh start and a human of his very own to love. We're not sure how much experience he has had living in a home, as we believe he has spent most, if not all, of his life as an outside dog. But we're sure this affectionate boy would love the chance to discover all the comforts of being part of a family and learning how wonderful inside life can be. Bluey arrived in our care in a very sad state. He was extremely skinny and had a high worm burden, so we had to take things very slowly while we carefully introduced food back into his system and treated those pesky worms. Thankfully, Bluey has come such a long way and is now feeling so much better and is ready to start the next chapter of his life. And if you're looking for a dog who LOVES a cuddle, Bluey could be your man! He is super affectionate and absolutely loves his people. Bluey even helped us out with Cupcake Day, where he spent the day greeting lots and lots of people and showing everyone just how far he has come since arriving at SPCA. He was a real superstar! Now all Bluey needs is a special person who will give him the love, patience and guidance he deserves while he learns about life as a much-loved family dog. Could you be Bluey's new best friend?
