About Luna

I came into the care of SPCA as my owner could no longer look after me, and I'm now ready to find my forever home! Luna is a sweet, clever, cuddly puppy who is looking for a family ready to help her grow into the wonderful dog she's going to be. Luna is a social little girl who loves spending time with her people and meeting other dogs. She can be a little cautious when experiencing new surroundings, but once she's had a chance to take everything in and settle, her playful and affectionate personality really shines through. While she enjoys saying hello to her canine friends, Luna would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, where she can soak up all the attention and continue building her confidence alongside her people. She's already proving just how smart she is! Luna can sit, come when called and give her paw, and her foster parent has said she is incredibly easy to train. She's also a total treats girlie, so positive reinforcement is definitely the way to her heart. She's working hard on her toilet training too, and we're seeing fewer accidents every day. She's making great progress and just needs consistency and encouragement from her new owner. Luna has even created her own little routine without anyone asking! Around 10am, she knows it's time for a crate nap, and at 8pm, she's ready for bedtime cuddles. She loves having her people close and would happily soak up all the affection she can get. Like any puppy, Luna does come with a little bit of chaos! So her new family will need to be patient and consistent while teaching her appropriate ways to interact. She'll need plenty of attention, reassurance, training and time while she learns to become more independent. In return, you'll get a loving, funny, clever little companion who is eager to learn and eager to be part of your life.
