About Harvey

Harvey is a handsome boy with the biggest smile you've ever seen. His happy, goofy grin is contagious and perfectly reflects his loving personality. Whether he's proudly carrying his favorite ball, rolling over for belly rubs, or looking up at you with his beautiful amber eyes, Harvey has a way of making everyone around him smile. Harvey has truly blossomed into a sweet, affectionate boy who thrives on human companionship. He absolutely loves pats, cuddles, and belly rubs, happily leaning into you before flopping onto his back for more. Through no fault of his own, Harvey has spent most of his life in the shelter. Because of this, he can be a little unsure around new people and unfamiliar situations. With a patient owner and a few tasty treats, he quickly realises there's nothing to fear, and before long his playful, loving personality shines through. Harvey loves running around the paddock and one of his favorite things is playing with his big green ball. He's always ready for an adventure, a run around to stretch his legs or a game before settling down for some cuddles. Harvey walks calmly past other dogs and has even made a few female canine friends while in our care. He may be suited to a home with another dog given the correct introduction. When he's excited to see his favorite people, he can sometimes get a little bouncy, but he settles quickly with gentle guidance and ongoing training. Because Harvey is still building his confidence on the outside world, he'd be best suited to an experienced owner who can continue helping him navigate new experiences and bring out the incredible dog we know he is. Harvey has waited far too long for a family to call his own.
