About Jack

I've had a rough start, and now I'm back at SPCA through no fault of my own, hoping for the forever home I deserve Hi there! My name is Jack, and I'm a boy with long legs, a big heart and plenty of puppy still left in me! I had a rough start to life then was surrendered to the SPCA along with my littermates when we were under 6 weeks old. I spent almost my whole puppyhood in SPCA care, and when I was finally adopted, I thought I'd found my forever home. Sadly, through no fault of my own, I've found myself back in SPCA care and looking for a second chance. 💛🐾 I'm a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being part of the action. I'm playful, enthusiastic and a bit of a goober - sometimes I'm still figuring out what to do with all those long, lanky legs! I've got plenty of adolescent energy, so I'd love an active family who can give me lots of opportunities to walk, explore, play and learn. I'm a smart boy who loves training, and I've already done brilliantly with my toilet training, obedience, confidence and socialisation. I'd love to keep building on everything I've learned with a family who can provide patience, consistency and positive reinforcement. Like any teenage dog, I'm still working on my manners and can get a little overexcited, but I also have a wonderfully soft and cuddly side. Once I've had my adventures, I'm more than happy to curl up with my favourite people. 🥰 I'd be best suited to an experienced home with teenagers or older children who understand that I'm still learning. A fully fenced yard is a must so I can safely burn off my puppy energy. I'd absolutely love another friendly dog to play with and learn from, and I could likely live with a confident, dog-savvy cat with careful introductions. I do have a medical waiver, and the canine team will be happy to chat more about that once you've applied. I didn't do anything wrong - sometimes things just don't work out. Now I'm hoping someone will see the sweet, goofy, loving boy I am and give me the second chance I deserve. 💛 If you're looking for an affectionate adventure buddy with a big personality and an even bigger heart, I'd love to meet you. Maybe this time, I'll finally be home. 🐾
