I was surrendered to SPCA as my owner could no longer care for me Meet Mouse - a gorgeous giant goofball with a big personality, an even bigger body, and plenty of love to give! Despite her tiny name, Mouse is a massive girl who is looking for a loving home with people who understand and have experience with large dogs. She can be a little nervous when first meeting new people or experiencing new things, but once she feels comfortable, her wonderfully goofy, playful personality comes bursting out! Mouse came into our care very pregnant at just 10 months old, meaning she unfortunately didn't get much of an opportunity to simply be a puppy herself. Now it's finally Mouse's turn to enjoy being young, playful, silly, and learning all about the world around her. She's currently working hard on her general obedience and learning how to walk nicely on the leash. Mouse is still very much a youngster and has lots to learn, so she's looking for patient and understanding people who can provide her with the love, guidance, and consistency she needs to continue growing into the wonderful companion we know she can be. Mouse is a social girl who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would absolutely love a playful canine companion to romp around and have fun with. She's also shown herself to be very respectful of cats - she seems to understand that they're definitely not there to be messed with! Because Mouse is such a large, strong, and boisterous girl, she's best suited to a home with teenagers or adults. While she has no intention of causing trouble, her enthusiasm and size mean she could accidentally knock over small children or more elderly family members when she's feeling playful! Mouse would thrive with people who are ready to embrace all the fun that comes with a young large breed girl. She's looking for a family who can continue her training, give her plenty of positive guidance, and most importantly, let her finally experience all the love, fun, and carefree puppyhood she missed out on. She does have a medical waiver, which the team can share more information about when you apply. With patience, guidance, and a whole lot of love, Mouse is going to make an incredibly fun, loyal, and affectionate companion. If you're an experienced large-dog owner looking for a big, goofy girl to fill your home - and probably your couch - with laughter and love, Mouse could be the perfect addition to your family!
