Meet sweet Finch! 🐾❤️ Finch is a clever, gentle girl with a big heart and a sensitive soul. She may not be the first puppy to rush over and say hello, but give her a little time, space and kindness and you'll soon see her beautiful personality shine through. 🥰 Finch can be quite reserved when meeting new people, especially men. Her favourite way to meet someone new is to have them simply ignore her at first and let her come over when she feels ready. Once she decides you're a friend, she is more than happy to enjoy some pats and spend time by your side! She has been doing wonderfully in her foster home, where she loves playing with the other dogs. She has also spent time in another home and explored nicely before settling down well. While she can initially be timid in a new environment, she is a brave little girl who is learning that the world is a safe and exciting place. She just needs people who are happy to let her take things at her own pace. 💕 Finch is very food motivated, which is fantastic because this clever girl loves to learn! She is already working on her toilet training and knows how to sit and touch her nose to a hand target. Her foster has even been teaching her fun tricks like spinning, lying down and rolling over. With her willingness to learn and love of treats, we think she will be a very rewarding little dog to train. 🧠✨ Finch loves having canine friends and plays beautifully with the dogs in her foster home. She has also briefly met cats and was very interested in them, with some barking and an eagerness to play. We think she could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat with careful introductions and ongoing supervision. Finch is a sensitive girl who sometimes hangs back while she processes a new situation. Her forever family will need to be patient and understanding, allowing her time to build confidence rather than expecting her to be instantly outgoing. In return, they'll get to watch this sweet little girl blossom into a confident companion. 🌱❤️ If you're looking for a gentle, clever puppy who will become your best friend once she knows she can trust you, Finch might just be your girl! 🐾
