Alek

Alek came into the SPCAs care after he and his sibling were left in a box outside our SPCA. After receiving lots of love and care from our team and out at foster, he is now ready to find a trusting forever home. Alek was very timid on his arrival and has come a long way building in his confidence, he is very shy in new environments and will take time and patience to settle in and get used to his new humans. Once he is settled his true sweet natured personality shines through. He has the sweetest purr, loves chin, and cheek rubs, leaning in for more attention and smooching his face into his favourite person. Like most young cats, Alek is playful and curious - he loves any toy with a bell in it, often pouncing and chasing after the jingly sounds and or batting at wand toy strings. He will require plenty of places to hide like a cat cave bed as this is where he finds comfort. Alek is looking for a quiet patient home with 1-2 cat savvy adults and to be an only pet to help him feel most comfortable and confident in his new home; he enjoys his treats and this will greatly help with bonding between the pair of you.
