When Chief first arrived in our care, the world felt like a very big and overwhelming place. Thanks to the love, patience, and dedication of his wonderful foster carer, and the AWLQ team, he has come such a long way and is now beginning to let his beautiful personality shine and make his way into a forever home 🌟 While Chief can still be a little shy when meeting new people, once he knows he's safe, he is an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion who forms deep, lasting bonds with the people he loves 💖 Chief has a fun, playful side too! He absolutely adores his toys and will happily play fetch or chase you around the yard! He's also very food motivated and enjoys enrichment activities like puzzle toys, as well as delicious treats such as pig's ears and hooves to keep him busy and content! This handsome boy also loves heading out for walks and is a fantastic passenger in the car, making him the perfect sidekick for adventures both near and far. Chief does have ongoing skin sensitivities, which means he'll need lifelong management and continued veterinary care to help keep him comfortable. His future family will need to be committed to supporting his medical needs, but in return they'll gain a truly special companion whose love and devotion are well worth the extra care! 💕 Chief is searching for a calm, understanding home where his family will continue building his confidence with kindness, patience, and gentle encouragement.
