About Penelope

Penelope has made a pitstop at Sutherland while she waits to be adopted. Penelope (Penny) was not coping in the Pound environment, so was offered to DCH Animal Adoptions where she is now thriving. Current weight is 5.3kg. Penny was initially scared of everything and everyone but is thriving in a quiet household with 4 other canines. Penny is very quiet, sweet and waits her turn for affection, eats well and is very submissive. Penny will thrive in a relaxed household and would benefit from another confident dog in order to learn how to dog. Ongoing training to walk on lead is needed by her family as she gets scared from noises and wants to retreat. Penny has mastered the doggie door and when she toilets outside, it is celebrated. Penny's ideal family is one that can offer her lots of returned affection, has respectful family members and patience whilst she learns to walk on lead.
