Meet Amber! 🐾🧡 Amber is a gorgeous 8-month-old calico girl with a beautiful personality to match her stunning looks. She is a sweet-natured young cat who enjoys the simple pleasures in life and would love to find a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, understood, and loved. One of Amber's favourite things is relaxing in her cosy bed, especially when it's positioned somewhere she can keep an eye on the world around her. A sunny spot by a window would be perfect for her, or even a nice elevated perch where she can sit up high and watch everything happening around her. 🪟🐱 Amber definitely has a mind of her own and is an independent girl who likes to have some control over her environment and interactions. She will thrive in a cat-savvy home with a family who understands feline behaviour and is confident in reading and respecting feline body language and communication. Amber is also a playful young cat with a strong natural hunting drive. She particularly enjoys interactive play that mimics natural hunting behaviours, such as chasing, stalking, pouncing, and capturing toys. Because of her enthusiastic hunting instincts, Amber can sometimes become overstimulated during play, so her family will need to understand her cues and recognise when she has had enough, allowing her time and space to settle. For this reason, Amber is not suited to a home with children under 13 years of age. She will be best suited to a calm, respectful household with older children or adults who understand how to interact appropriately with cats and can recognise and respect her boundaries. Her ideal family will be patient, observant, and well-versed in feline behaviour, giving Amber the freedom to be her wonderfully individual self while providing appropriate outlets for her playful and instinctive nature.
