Meet Cheezel! This young boy is still finding his paws in the big wide world. Cheezel absolutely loves tasty treats and toys (especially tennis balls and soft squeaky toys) and these are a great way to build his confidence and help build his bond with you. As he gets to know you, he becomes affectionate, loving a good head scratch. While he is timid now, he will likely become more boisterous as he settles in so would benefit from a home comfortable managing a big strong shepherd mix! Cheezel's ideal home is one with adults or dog savvy teens, or potentially older children as long as they are respectful. He would love a large, secure yard to play in, and would also benefit from a role model adult dog to learn and build confidence with, pending a meet and greet on site. With time, understanding, and a predictable routine, Cheezel will make a wonderful companion for a family who is committed to helping him thrive.
