He will thrive with a safe room during his first few weeks, complete with cosy hiding places, a scratching post, and enrichments. A quiet home with predictable routines for feeding, rest, and gentle interactions will help him feel secure. He enjoys calm companionship and may appreciate gentle brushing more than food rewards, as he is not highly food-motivated. Marmalade does have ongoing veterinary needs that will require continued management and reviewed. He would do best as the only pet in an adult or respectful older-teen household.
