Hello, I’m Martey. I’m a little over four years old, a gentle, thoughtful boy who feels safest when life is calm and predictable. I can be a little shy at first, and I like to take my time getting to know new people and places, but I promise I’m worth the wait. I’m the sort of cat who will quietly observe from a safe spot, watching the world go by until I feel comfortable enough to step a little closer. Once I’ve built that trust, I become a warm, sweet companion who enjoys soft company, a cozy bed, and a sunny corner to curl up in. Because I can be a bit timid, I’m really hoping to find a calm, quiet household where I can settle in at my own pace. Loud environments or lots of sudden change can be a bit overwhelming for me, so I’d do best with someone patient who understands that I might need a little time to truly relax and show my full personality. A gentle routine, a safe place to retreat to, and someone who lets me come to them when I’m ready will help me feel secure.
