Hi there, Meet Lulu, the sweet Miniature Poodle!!! Lulu would thrive in a home where someone is around for most of the day, such as a household with people who work from home, are retired, or have flexible schedules. Her new family should be prepared to help her gradually build confidence with being left alone using positive, reward-based training. Must meet all kids – she can be wary of new people and loud noises so she is looking for a home that will respect her space when she needs it, a safe haven with an open den bed would be ideal to retreat to as needed. Lulu is looking for a home with another dog. Having spent much of her life around other dogs, she appears to gain confidence from canine companionship. For this reason, we believe she would benefit from being rehomed with a calm, compatible dog! Lulu is currently waiting to have a dental to resolve her dental disease and we would love for her to wait for this in her home rather than at RSPCA. Her new family will need to be able to return her to RSPCA Adoption Centre Sydney for this procedure when booking date is confirmed. Her RSPCA care team can give you more information about this. With a patient family, a predictable routine, and the companionship of another friendly dog, this lovely girl has every opportunity to continue growing in confidence and become a devoted, affectionate member of her new family!
